Cruising through Central Europe

Wednesday, November 5 at 7:00 PM Ferry Building Gallery
1414 Argyle Avenue West Vancouver, BC

Travel 2,000 kilometres across Europe by river from Budapest to Amsterdam on the North Sea, which makes this one of the most exciting and varied cruises that we offer. Learn about Europe through its most important waterways – the Rhine, Main and Danube – three of the big names in rivers, and rivers that seem proud of themselves.

Just think of Amsterdam, the ‘Venice of the North’ and one of Europe’s most sparkling cities, or of the fascinating Dutch waterways, the German cities of Cologne, Frankfurt, Wuerzburg, Bamberg, and Regensburg (all steeped in history), the legendary Lorelei on the Rhine, the romantic Altmuehl valley as we go along the Rhine-Main-Danube canal, the Schlögen bends below Passau, the dreamy Wachau district, the famous Danube ‘knee’ at Visegrad in Hungary, and above all the almost majestic way the Danube flows south into the heart of Budapest.
